Pikachu is often the very first Pokémon children learn to name, and these pages make it the perfect first colouring character too. Most of them are marked Easy: a round head, two long ears with black tips, red cheeks and a lightning-bolt tail — a handful of big shapes that small hands can fill with confidence.

Pikachu's many moods

The collection is a little lesson in feelings. Pikachu smiles, laughs, sulks, gets angry, falls asleep, looks tired and cheers with a thunderbolt. Print two opposite moods and ask your child how Pikachu feels in each — a simple way to talk about emotions.

Pikachu's favourite things

Pikachu sits on a Poké Ball, holds an apple or a strawberry, sips a coffee, wears a winter scarf, rides a balloon float and plays detective in a deerstalker hat. In one page Ash (called Satoshi in Japan) is there too, and another shows Pikachu with a group of other Pokémon.

Pages for the whole year

There is a Christmas Pikachu, Pikachu with a gift box, Pikachu hunting Easter eggs, Pikachu dressed as a Halloween witch and a summer day building a sandcastle — enough for a Pokémon calendar of your own.

If your child wants more than Pikachu, the Pokémon page has species from many generations, from Eevee and Mew to the newest arrivals — a good next step once the easy pages are done.

Colouring tips

Pikachu needs just four colours: yellow for the body, black for the ear tips, red for the cheeks and brown for the stripes on its back and the base of its tail. It is a great page for practising "colour inside the lines" and for trying out markers. Older children can add a background: a meadow, a night sky or the inside of a Poké Ball.

Frequently asked questions

Very. Most of them are marked Easy and suit children from two to six: Pikachu is drawn with a few big, round shapes and thick outlines.

Are there seasonal Pikachu pages?

Yes: Christmas Pikachu, Pikachu with a gift box, Pikachu with Easter eggs, a Halloween witch Pikachu and a summer page with a sandcastle.

Can I print Pikachu pages for free?

Yes, in A4 or US Letter or as PDF and PNG. Pikachu and Pokémon belong to Nintendo, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company; the pages are for personal, non-commercial colouring.
